FLOAT

SYSTEM

The float chamber located directly beneath the main carburetor structure serves to maintain

the fuel level

constant height by

joint action

the

float

and the needle valve

incorporated in

it.

Fuel from the fuel tank enters

the

float chamber through the needle valve, which

kept open

while

the

fuel level

low

but is

closed

when

the

fuel

level

reaches

predetermined level

cousing

the

float to move up.
